Reel Life (2000)

CD featuring recordings of personal music from film composers Rachel Portman, Howard Shore, David Raskin, Bob James and Bruce Broughton as well as Michael..

Michael re-recorded and contributed a piece he’d written many years previously called “Cut Sleeves”.

He was inspired by the centuries old tale of a Chinese Emperor who rather than wake his lover sleeping on his arm, ordered the sleeves of his priceless robes be cut so the lover could sleep on undisturbed.

Album, Arabesque Records
