Roger Waters - The Wall: Live in Berlin (1990)
Epic staging of the original album, spearheaded by Roger Waters with a line up of all star players, including Tim Curry, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Bryan Adams and featuring a giant styrofoam brick wall as a backdrop.
The stage was actually built on no-mans land between East and West Berlin, producers had to do a mine-sweep before going ahead and the fans were stamping rhythms over Hitler’s bunker.
Michael was musical director of the Rudfunk Orchestra, conductor, orchestrater and arranger.
