Harkness Ballet - Rodin Mis En Vie (1974)
Ballet choreographed by Margo Sappington
Composer, Arranger, Orchestrator, Conductor, Music Producer
In which Rodin’s characterful sculptures are animated by music and dance interpretations. This was the first of Michael’s ballets and was particularly important to him. It contains the kernels of essential themes that ran through his career.
Michael always said that as a kid, if he hadn’t become a musician, he’d wanted to become a sculptor - because of Rodin’s emotive art.
